Job summary

CSL is seeking a Pheresis Technician to prepare donor areas and equipment, monitor the pheresis process, and respond to alarms. The role includes recording incidents on a PDA and maintaining donor data in the information system. Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma and at least three months of relevant medical experience.

On-site position in Gainesville, GA with exposure to safety protocols and potential cross-training in other areas as required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to perform basic math calculations.
• Minimum of three (3) months' work experience, preferably in medical or health provider environment or equivalent combination of education and experience
• High school diploma or equivalent required

Responsibilities

• Prepare donor, donor area and equipment for the pheresis process.
• Prepare the autopheresis machine for the pheresis process.
• Monitor donor and pheresis process; respond to alarms or signals during the process.
• Disconnect donor when the process is complete.
• Maintain alertness to donor reactions during or after pheresis; notify staff as needed.
