Job summary

Sherwin-Williams is seeking a full-time Customer Service Specialist in Highland Park, IL to assist customers, answer product questions, and recommend solutions. This role involves working at multiple store locations, including part-time travel to nearby branches, with a starting pay of $19.75 per hour.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years old.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Must be able to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in English.
• Must be able to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in Spanish.
• Must have a valid, unrestricted Driver’s License.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. on occasion.
• Must work evenings and weekends as needed.
• Internal Sherwin-Williams candidates must meet performance expectations and HR requirements.

Responsibilities

• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service.
• Assist customers in person and over the phone by determining needs and presenting appropriate products and services.
• Build productive trust relationships with wholesale and retail customers.
• Process sales transactions accurately and in line with policies and procedures.
• Follow and achieve sales goals on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.
• Maintain precise work order files and formulas.
• Pull appropriate products from the sales floor or warehouse.
• Tint and mix products to customer specifications.
• Stock shelves and set up displays.
• Clean store equipment.
• Load/unload delivery trucks.
• Assist in deliveries when needed.
• Maintain in-stock and presentable condition in assigned areas.
• Remain knowledgeable on products offered and discuss options.
