Job summary

The Sherwin-Williams Company in the United States is seeking a Customer Service Specialist to assist both wholesale and retail customers, determine needs, and recommend suitable products. You will resolve customer concerns and strive for maximum satisfaction while supporting store sales goals.

Responsibilities include handling transactions, stocking, tinting/mixing products, and delivering excellent service.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Able to read, write, and communicate in English.
• Able to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in Spanish.
• Valid, unrestricted Driver's License.
• Lift up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 70 lbs occasionally.
• Willing to work evenings/weekends.
• Internal Sherwin-Williams employees: must have at least a 3 rating.
• Internal Sherwin-Williams employees: must have completed HR Cloud eLearning.

Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent sales service to customers.
• Assist customers in person and over the phone by identifying needs and recommending products.
• Build trust with wholesale and retail customers.
• Process sales transactions accurately per policy.
• Meet monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales goals.
• Maintain precise work orders and product formulas.
• Pull products from floors or warehouse.
• Tint and mix products to customer specs.
• Stock shelves and set up displays.
• Clean store equipment.
• Load/unload delivery trucks; assist deliveries as needed.
• Maintain in-stock, presentable areas.
• Stay knowledgeable on products and options.
• Follow inventory control procedures.
• Suggest improvements to drive sales.
