Job summary

The Sherwin-Williams Company is hiring a Customer Service Specialist in the United States. You will help wholesale and retail customers choose the right products and resolve concerns to maximize satisfaction. You will also stay informed on product features and maintain store quality and display standards.

You will interact with customers, process transactions, and support deliveries while meeting monthly and yearly sales goals and maintaining accurate records.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen years old.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Must be able to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in English.
• Must be able to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in Spanish.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 70 lbs occasionally.
• Willing to work evenings and weekends, with or without accommodations.
• If internal to Sherwin-Williams, must have at least a 'meets expectations' rating on your most recent appraisal.
• If internal to Sherwin-Williams, must have completed HR Cloud eLearning courses for current position.

Responsibilities

• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service.
• Assist customers in person and over the phone by determining needs and presenting appropriate products and services.
• Build productive trust relationships with wholesale and retail customers.
• Process sales transactions accurately and in line with policies and procedures.
• Follow and achieve sales goals on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.
• Maintain precise work order files and formulas.
• Pull appropriate products from the sales floor or warehouse.
• Tint and mix products, as needed, to customer specifications.
• Stock shelves and set up displays.
• Clean store equipment.
• Load/unload delivery trucks.
• Assist in making deliveries, as needed.
• Maintain in-stock and presentable condition in assigned areas.
• Remain knowledgeable on products offered and discuss options.
