Rock Spring Contracting, LLC is seeking a Safety Specialist to lead hazard control initiatives across our construction sites in Richmond, VA. You will collaborate with multiple departments to plan controls, enforce regulations, and represent the company during inspections and client communications.

Responsibilities include conducting site observations, leading incident investigations, delivering bilingual safety trainings in English and Spanish, and reporting findings with corrective actions.

Qualificações

• Bilingual in English and Spanish for written and verbal communication.
• Knowledge of construction safety standards; keep updated on regulations.
• Experience in construction safety, risk management, or related field preferred.
• Strong communication, report writing, and presentation skills.
• Ability to travel to job sites; standing/walking outdoors; flexible shifts.

Responsabilidades

• Plan and implement hazard control solutions with PPE or engineered systems.
• Ensure OSHA, VOSH, MOSH compliance; monitor regulation changes.
• Represent the company during safety inspections and client communications.
• Perform safety observations, inspections, audits; report findings and corrective actions.
• Lead incident investigations and root-cause analysis.
• Conduct safety training sessions in English and Spanish.
• Provide first-aid; report and document appropriately.
• Assist with additional safety tasks and projects.
