Job summary

Project Access, Inc. seeks a part-time Community Activities & Services Coordinator in Raleigh, NC to design and implement programs that enhance life in resident communities.

You will engage residents across four pillars—Economic Stability, Education for Youth & Families, Health & Wellness, and Community Building—and coordinate after-school and teen activities while building partnerships with local providers.

Qualifications

• Experience in community outreach, resident services, social services, education, youth programming, multifamily housing, or related field.
• Ability to build relationships, engage residents, and conduct proactive outreach in a community-based setting.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and initiative in an independent role with ongoing resident engagement.
• Experience with youth, families, older adults, and diverse populations.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required.
• Proficient with MS Office; basic with Adobe Acrobat, Canva, Salesforce, Concur.
• Physical ability to lift up to 30 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Implement core programs across four initiatives: Economic Stability, Education for Youth & Families, Health & Wellness, and Community Building.
• Coordinate after-school and teen programs with homework help and enrichment.
• Plan, prepare, and facilitate resident-facing workshops and sessions.
• Develop and maintain partnerships with local providers to deliver services and workshops.
• Plan and facilitate community-building events and foster relationships within the community.
• Provide residents with information and referrals to access community resources and nonprofit partners.
• Support food distribution needs, including food bank partnerships and distribution management.
• Maintain strong relationships with the property management team and schedule regular communication.
• Organize monthly outreach including door-to-door, digital/virtual, and on-site presence.
• Recruit, train, and supervise volunteers and interns for programming at the Resource Center.
• Use personal vehicle to acquire supplies and attend offsite meetings (IRS mileage rate).
• Publish monthly newsletters and calendars of events.
• Collect and submit program outcomes data focusing on social impact.
