Job summary

Project Access seeks a Community Activities & Services Coordinator to design and implement programs that enhance community life for residents across four pillars: Economic Stability, Education for Youth & Families, Health & Wellness, and Community Building. The role links residents to services and requires proactive, autonomous work to drive long-term outcomes.

You will lead after-school and teen programs, conduct outreach, develop partnerships with local providers, and oversee volunteer staff.

Qualifications

• Bilingual English/Spanish required.
• Four years of experience in multi-family housing or related fields or a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Human Services, or related field.
• Experience in after-school programs or educational settings for youth; serving diverse populations.
• Proficient with MS Office; basic with Adobe Acrobat, Canva, Salesforce, Concur.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Self-starter, multi-tasker, and strong communicator.

Responsibilities

• Implement core programs and services across four pillars: Economic Stability, Education for Youth & Families, Health & Wellness, and Community Building.
• Conduct outreach and survey resident needs.
• Coordinate an after-school and teen program with homework help and enrichment activities.
• Plan, prepare, and facilitate resident workshops and group sessions.
• Develop partnerships with local providers to deliver services and workshops.
• Organize community-building events and facilitate safe relationships among residents.
• Provide residents with information and referrals to access community resources.
• Support food distribution efforts and manage food bank partnerships.
• Maintain relationships with the property management team and schedule regular check-ins.
• Organize monthly outreach including door-to-door, digital/virtual, and on-site presence.
• Recruit, train, and supervise volunteers and interns.
• Publish monthly newsletters and calendar of events.
• Collect program outcomes data with focus on social impact.
• Assist with budgets and authority to utilize funds for contractors when needed.
