Job summary

Project Access, Inc. in Raleigh, North Carolina, is seeking a Bilingual Community Program Coordinator (Spring Forest) to design and oversee resident services for four pillars: Economic Stability, Education for Youth & Families, Health & Wellness, and Community Building.

You’ll implement programs, conduct outreach, coordinate after-school and teen activities, plan resident workshops, build partnerships, and manage volunteers while serving part-time 20 hrs/week at $24/hour with IRS mileage

Qualifications

• Experience in community outreach, resident services, social services, education, youth programming, multifamily housing, or related field preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to build relationships, engage residents, and conduct proactive outreach in a community-based setting.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and initiative in an independent role.
• Experience with youth, families, older adults, and diverse populations.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Implement core programs and services across four pillars: Economic Stability, Education for Youth & Families, Health & Wellness, and Community Building.
• Conduct outreach and survey resident needs.
• Coordinate and oversee after-school and teen program activities.
• Plan and facilitate resident-facing workshops and group sessions.
• Develop and maintain partnerships with local providers to deliver services and workshops.
• Plan and facilitate community-building events and safe, meaningful relationships.
• Provide residents with information and referrals to access resources and services.
• Support food distribution needs and maintain food bank partnerships.
• Develop and maintain relationships with property management and schedule regular communications.
• Organize monthly outreach including door-to-door, digital/virtual, and in-person presence.
• Recruit, train, and supervise volunteers and interns.
• Use personal automobile for program supplies and attend offsite meetings (mileage reimbursed).
• Publish monthly newsletters and calendars of events.
• Collect and submit program outcomes data with emphasis on social impact.
• Provide input and adhere to budgets for resident service programs and authorize contractor funds.
