Job summary

Project Access is seeking a Bilingual Community Program Coordinator for Spring Forest in Raleigh. This part-time role designs and implements resident services across four pillars, connecting residents with programs, resources, and partners to improve community life.

You will recruit and supervise volunteers, manage monthly outreach, and publish communications while working independently in a role that values inclusion and proactive engagement.

Qualifications

• Experience in community outreach or resident services.
• Ability to build relationships and conduct proactive outreach in a community-based setting.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to take initiative in an independent role.
• Experience or comfort working with youth, families, older adults, and diverse populations.
• Commitment to creating a welcoming, inclusive environment for residents.
• Proficient with MS Office and basic with Adobe Acrobat, Canva, Salesforce, Concur.
• Valid Driver's License with clean driving record and current automobile insurance.
• CPR & First Aid certified (or obtained within 90 days of hire).
• Successful completion of background check.

Responsibilities

• Implement core programs across Economic Stability, Education for Youth & Families, Health & Wellness, and Community Building.
• Conduct outreach and survey resident needs in alignment with four pillars.
• Coordinate after-school and teen programs with homework assistance and enrichment.
• Plan, prepare, and facilitate resident workshops and group sessions; deliver topics when needed.
• Develop and maintain partnerships with local providers to deliver services.
• Plan and lead community-building events that foster safe relationships.
• Provide residents with information and referrals to access resources and nonprofit partners.
• Support food distribution through food bank partnerships and distribution management.
• Maintain strong relationships with property management; schedule regular communications.
• Organize monthly outreach (door-to-door, digital/virtual, and on-site presence).
• Recruit, train, and supervise volunteers and interns supporting programming.
• Use personal vehicle to obtain supplies and attend offsite meetings (IRS mileage rate).
• Publish monthly newsletters and events calendar.
• Collect and report program outcomes data, focusing on social impact.
• Contribute to budgets and authorize contractor expenditures when needed.
