Job summary

Project Access, Inc. seeks a Community Activities & Services Coordinator to design and implement programs enhancing resident life at Woodland Estates in Charlotte, NC. You will connect residents with services, lead workshops, and develop partnerships with local providers to deliver four pillars of support.

You will manage after-school and teen programs, engage in outreach, and coordinate with the property team. This role emphasizes autonomy and measurable social impact in a community setting.

Qualifications

• Bilingual English/Spanish REQUIRED.
• Four years of experience in multi-family housing or related fields; or a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Human Services, or related field.
• Minimum of one year experience in after-school programs or educational settings for youth.
• Proficient with MS Office (Excel, Word, Publisher, Outlook). Basic with Adobe Acrobat, Canva, Salesforce, Concur.
• Strong time management, administrative, and organizational skills.
• Self-starter, multi-tasker, and strong communicator.
• Physical ability to lift up to 30 pounds and perform light activity.

Responsibilities

• Implement core programs across four initiatives: Economic Stability, Education for Youth & Families, Health & Wellness, Community Building.
• Conduct outreach and survey resident needs; align with pillars.
• Coordinate and oversee an after-school program and teen program with homework help.
• Plan, prepare, and facilitate resident workshops and group sessions.
• Develop and maintain partnerships with local providers for services and workshops.
• Plan and facilitate community-building events to foster relationships.
• Provide residents with information and referrals to access resources.
• Support food distribution needs; maintain food bank partnerships.
• Build relationships with property management; schedule regular communications.
• Organize monthly outreach and recruit/train volunteers and interns.
