Job summary

PORTFOLIO RESIDENT SERVICES INC. seeks a part-time Program Coordinator to improve quality of life for residents in affordable housing communities. The role includes creating a monthly calendar of activities, coordinating resources, and engaging residents through social services programs.

Qualifications

• Self-starter who thrives in an independent environment and is well organized.
• Experience in education, social work, or nonprofit field preferred.
• Experience with children, teens, adults and/or senior citizens.
• Must have home computer, access to email and capability to do light printing.

Responsibilities

• Provide a welcoming and inviting atmosphere to residents and serve as initial point of contact.
• Prepare reports based on calendar and activities offered each month.
• Design and post monthly calendars and flyers; distribute on-site.
• Oversee program offerings, recruit volunteers, solicit donations and partner with community groups.
• Log communications with volunteers, partners and donations monthly.
• Provide information about local resources to residents.
