Job summary

PORTFOLIO RESIDENT SERVICES INC. is seeking a Program Coordinator to support residents in affordable housing communities with CORES certified resident services, program development, and community engagement.

The role offers a part-time, flexible schedule with up to $18 per hour for about 12 hours weekly, and opportunities to lead activities, recruit volunteers, and coordinate resources while working closely with property management and residents.

Qualifications

• Must be available to work 2 days per week; Hours are 12-5pm (Monday- Friday).
• Occasional evening and weekend availability may be required as job duties demand, typically 1-2 times per quarter.
• Relevant experience in education, social work, non-profit or a related field; Volunteer experience will be considered.
• Experience with children, teens, adults and/or senior citizens in various capacities.
• Ability to work independently without supervision and multitask.
• Exceptional organizational and administrative skills.
• Effective written and oral communication skills.
• Familiarity with community and social service resources.
• Must be available to attend quarterly team meetings (once per quarter).
• Comfortable using company-issued technology (iPad) and basic applications for communication, reporting, and program tracking

Responsibilities

• Provide a welcoming and inviting atmosphere to all residents and serve as initial contact point.
• Prepare reports based on calendars, sign-in sheets, and activities.
• Design and post monthly calendars and flyers on-site; distribute door-to-door.
• Oversee program offerings, recruit volunteers, solicit donations, partner with community organizations.
• Log communications with volunteers and partners; submit monthly log.
• Provide information about local resources to residents.
• Coordinate resident participation and communicate needs to staff.
• Monitor and interact with residents of all ages as needed.
• Maintain sign-in sheets and organize PRS documents for audits.
• Supervise community center use and keep spaces clean and organized.
