Job summary

PORTFOLIO RESIDENT SERVICES INC. is seeking a part-time Program Coordinator to support affordable housing communities. You will run developmental activities, engage residents, manage calendars and communications, and partner with volunteers and donors to enhance social and economic programs.

The role emphasizes independence, organization, and a heart for the community. Requires in-person presence at the property, with a flexible schedule and shared duties across resident services.

Qualifications

• Must be available 3–4 days per week; hours 9–2pm, Monday–Friday.
• Experience in education, social work, nonprofit or related field; volunteer experience considered.
• Experience with children, teens, adults and/or seniors in various capacities.
• Ability to work independently without supervision and multitask.
• Exceptional organizational and administrative skills.
• Effective written and oral communication skills.
• Familiarity with community and social service resources.
• Must attend quarterly team meetings (once per quarter).
• Comfortable using company-issued technology (iPad) and basic apps for reporting and tracking.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a welcoming point of contact in the community center.
• Prepare reports based on calendar, sign-in sheets, and contracted program hours.
• Design and post monthly calendars and flyers; distribute on-site.
• Oversee program offerings, recruit volunteers, solicit donations and partner with community organizations.
• Log communications with volunteers and donations; submit monthly log.
• Provide information about local resources to residents.
• Engage residents in program planning and communicate needs to staff.
• Monitor interactions with residents of all ages.
• Maintain sign-in sheets for all activities.
• Manage petty cash and supplies; assist with center maintenance.
