Job summary

Project Access in California seeks a Bilingual Community Program Coordinator for Foxdale to design and implement resident services across four pillars: economic stability, youth education, health, and community building. You will lead after-school and teen programs, coordinate workshops, and develop partnerships with local providers to expand services for residents in affordable housing communities.

Qualifications

• Four years of experience in multi-family housing or related fields (social services or community outreach) or a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Human Services, or related field.
• Minimum of one year experience in after-school programs or educational settings for youth.
• Experience serving diverse populations with cultural competency and community awareness.
• Proficient with MS Office (Excel, Word, Publisher, Outlook); basic with Adobe Acrobat, Canva, Salesforce, Concur.
• Strong time management, administrative, and organizational skills.
• Self-starter, multi-tasker, and strong communicator.
• Valid Driver's License, clean driving record, and current automobile insurance.
• CPR & First Aid certified (or obtained within 90 days of hire).
• Successful completion of background check.

Responsibilities

• Implement core programs and services across four initiatives: Economic Stability, Education for Youth & Families, Health & Wellness, and Community Building.
• Conduct outreach and survey resident needs.
• Coordinate and oversee an after-school program and teen program with homework assistance and enrichment.
• Plan, prepare, and facilitate resident-facing workshops and group sessions.
• Develop and maintain partnerships with local providers to deliver services.
• Plan and facilitate community-building events.
• Provide residents with information and referrals to access community resources.
• Support food distribution needs including maintaining food bank partnerships.
• Build strong relationships with property management through regular communication.
• Organize monthly outreach (door-to-door, digital/virtual, and on-site).
• Recruit, train, and oversee volunteers and interns.
• Use personal automobile to acquire program supplies; mileage reimbursed.
• Publish monthly newsletters and calendar of events.
• Collect and submit program outcomes data focusing on social impact.
• Provide input and adhere to budgets for resident service programs.
