Job summary

Project Access is hiring a Bilingual Community Program Coordinator to enhance resident life at Hampton & Solano in Tucson. You will implement core programs across four pillars—Economic Stability, Education for Youth & Families, Health & Wellness, and Community Building—and lead outreach, after-school activities, and workshops for residents of multifamily housing communities.

Qualifications

• Four years of experience in multi-family housing or related fields such as social services or community outreach, or a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Human Services, or related field.
• Experience in after-school programs or educational settings for youth.
• Experience serving diverse populations with cultural competency and community awareness.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, Publisher, Outlook) and basic with Adobe Acrobat, Canva, Salesforce, Concur.
• Strong time management, administrative, and organizational skills.
• Self-starter, multi-tasker, and strong communicator.
• Physical ability to lift up to 30 pounds for distribution activities.

Responsibilities

• Implement core programs and services across four pillars: Economic Stability, Education for Youth & Families, Health & Wellness, and Community Building.
• Conduct outreach and survey resident needs through community engagement.
• Coordinate and oversee an after-school program and teen program with homework assistance and enrichment.
• Plan, prepare, and facilitate resident-facing workshops and group sessions.
• Develop and maintain partnerships with local providers to deliver services and workshops.
• Plan and facilitate community-building events and foster safe relationships.
• Provide residents with information and referrals to access community resources and nonprofit partners.
• Support food distribution needs and manage food bank partnerships.
• Maintain strong relationships with property management and schedule regular communications.
• Organize monthly outreach including door-to-door and digital activities.
• Recruit and supervise volunteers and interns supporting the Resource Center.
• Use a personal vehicle for program supplies and attend offsite meetings (IRS mileage rate).
• Publish monthly newsletters and events calendar.
• Collect and submit program outcomes data with emphasis on social impact.
