Job summary

Project Access is hiring a Bilingual Community Program Coordinator for Belmont at Duck Creek, Garland, TX. You will design and deliver resident-facing programs across four pillars—Economic Stability, Education, Health & Wellness, and Community Building—engaging diverse residents and partnering with local providers.

Strong communication, planning, and outreach skills are essential as you coordinate workshops, events, and volunteer teams.

Qualifications

• Four years of experience in multi-family housing or related fields such as social services or community outreach.
• Experience in adult-centric community programs and serving diverse populations.
• Proficiency with MS Office and basic design tools; ability to assist with newsletters and calendars.

Responsibilities

• Implement core programs and services across four initiatives: Economic Stability, Education for Youth & Families, Health & Wellness, and Community Building.
• Conduct outreach and survey resident needs aligned with four pillars.
• Plan, prepare, and facilitate resident-facing workshops and group sessions.
• Develop and maintain partnerships with local providers to deliver services and workshops.
• Plan and facilitate community-building events that foster safe relationships.
• Provide residents with information and referrals to access community resources.
• Support food distribution needs and manage food bank partnerships.
• Build relationships with property management and schedule regular communication sessions.
• Organize monthly outreach including door-to-door and on-site presence.
• Recruit, train, and oversee volunteers and interns.
• Use a personal vehicle to acquire program supplies and attend offsite meetings (IRS mileage rate).
• Publish monthly newsletters and calendars of events.
• Collect program outcomes data focusing on social impact.
