Job summary

Grameen America seeks an entry-level Relationship Associate to join our branch team. You will focus on delivering exceptional customer service, engaging in local outreach, and supporting member recruitment and retention efforts.

Reports to the Branch Manager and works on-site at our Indianapolis branch. This role emphasizes relationship-building, in-person and virtual engagement, and strong organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

• Ability to multitask and manage time.
• Basic numeric and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead weekly center meetings for loan repayments, updates, and education.
• Build strong relationships with members to support retention and growth.
• Respond to member inquiries promptly and professionally; assist with problem solving and engagement.
• Conduct in-person home verifications and business visits to verify borrower details.
• Uphold high standards of service, quality, and productivity.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures; perform other duties as assigned.
• Conduct outreach through local channels with regular travel to engage entrepreneurs and potential members.
• Recruit new members to meet growth targets.
• Monitor loan activity and ensure compliance with disbursement and repayment schedules.
