Job summary

Veros Credit, LLC is seeking an Account Servicing Specialist (Impounds) to manage auto loan accounts and related collection activities in a fast-paced environment. You will negotiate payment arrangements, review accounts for special assistance, and coordinate repossession efforts when needed.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in collections, strong negotiation and communication skills, and the ability to operate within FDCPA guidelines. Bilingual English/Spanish is required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in the collections field, preferably in subprime consumer lending.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read, interpret and apply federal, state, and local collections regulations.
• Professional interaction with customers in a courteous manner.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team and handle overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Follow and ensure compliance with FDCPA and company policies.
• Negotiate payment arrangements to obtain payment commitments or reinstatement.
• Review accounts for special assistance and gather required documents.
• Initiate and review repossession efforts to recover collateral.
• Document account information and collection activities accurately.
• Conduct skip-tracing to locate customers using databases and records.
• Make outbound and take inbound calls using dialing systems.
• Meet or exceed daily and monthly goals.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
