Job summary

Veros Credit, LLC is seeking an Account Servicing Specialist to manage auto loan accounts delinquent by 60 days, documenting activities in our servicing system. The role emphasizes compliance with FDCPA, negotiation of payment arrangements, and helping borrowers keep their vehicles while meeting loan obligations.

The position requires 5+ years in collections, bilingual English/Spanish, and strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in the collections field, preferably in subprime consumer lending.
• Reinstatements experience is a plus.
• Effective communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read, interpret and apply federal, state, and local collections regulations.
• Ability to interact with customers professionally and tactfully.

Responsibilities

• Follow and ensure compliance with all company policies and FDCPA.
• Negotiate payment arrangements with borrowers and suggest methods to meet obligations.
• Assist borrowers in devising a strategy to keep their vehicle while meeting loan obligations.
• Accurately document account information and collection activities.
• Utilize skip tracing tools to identify and locate delinquent borrowers.
• Other duties as assigned.
