Job summary

Veros Credit, LLC is seeking an Account Servicing Specialist to manage 60-day delinquent auto loan accounts and document collection activities. The role requires negotiating payment plans, guiding borrowers to retain their vehicles, and using loan servicing software and skip-tracing tools to locate customers.

Qualified candidates will have 5+ years in collections, bilingual English/Spanish, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in the collections field, preferably in subprime consumer lending.
• Reinstatements experience is a plus.
• Effective communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read, interpret and apply federal, state, and local collections regulations.
• Ability to interact with customers professionally and tactfully.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is required.
• Available to work a flexible work schedule and overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Follow and ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures as well as the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA).
• Negotiate payment arrangements with borrowers, including offering suggestions as to how they can meet their obligations, propose alternative payment methods, and establish payment procedures.
• Assist borrowers in devising a strategy to allow them to keep their vehicle while meeting the obligations of the loan.
• Accurately and professionally document account information and collection activities.
• Utilize skip tracing tools and reference sources to identify and locate delinquent borrowers.
• Other duties as assigned.
