MPS Credit Union is seeking a Recovery Solutions Specialist (Collections) bilingual in Spanish and English to join our Main Office in Miami, FL. You will actively contact members, monitor delinquent accounts, and coordinate repossessions while upholding exceptional member service.

Responsibilities include extensive call handling, documentation, and collaboration with credit counseling agencies. Strong focus on compliance and financial wellness for members.

Qualifications

• Experience in collections or related finance roles is required.
• Proficient in negotiating payment arrangements with members.
• Proven ability to handle calls and member inquiries professionally.

Responsibilities

• Monitor overdue loans and accounts and contact members to collect payments.
• Make 60+ calls daily and respond to member questions via phone, email, or chat.
• Manage repossessions, notices, sales coordination, and reporting to credit bureaus.
• Maintain accurate records of collections, repossessions, and account activity.
• File and manage insurance claims and respond to member credit disputes.
• Work with credit counseling agencies and track bankruptcy or garnishment actions.
• Process payments, loan extensions, and account updates per policy.
• Assist members with loan issues, disputes, and account questions.
