Job summary

National Youth Advocate Program (NYAP) seeks a dedicated Case Manager I for La Jornada to oversee timely assessments, service plans, and documentation uploads in ORR portals. You will support youth in care, coordinate with sponsors, and maintain compliant case files under NYAP CQI standards.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in behavioral sciences or related field, bilingual English/Spanish, and flexibility for on-call schedules including weekends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in the behavioral sciences, human services or social services fields.
• Strong case management experience encouraged.
• Flexible schedule including weekends/evenings to support program services.
• Proficient with desktop/laptop computers, smartphones, tablets, printers, and common software.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate case management services for children in care under direction of Lead Case Manager.
• Maintain active caseload and support sponsorship and reunification processes.
• Ensure timely case assessments within ORR timeframes and coordinate referrals.
• Liaise with health professionals and legal service providers to support youth in care.
• Provide weekly updates to youth and families and maintain comprehensive files.
