Job summary

National Youth Advocate Program (NYAP) is seeking a Case Manager I for La Jornada, a child welfare role focused on timely assessments, service plans, and documentation in ORR's UC Portal. You will maintain case files, coordinate with Lead Case Manager, and ensure compliance with NYAP CQI Team policies.

The position requires a bachelor’s degree in behavioral sciences or social services, bilingual English/Spanish, and flexibility to work evenings or weekends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in behavioral sciences, human services or social services fields.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish). Fluency in Spanish is required.
• Flexible schedule including potential evenings and weekends.
• Proficient use of desktop and laptop computers, smartphones and tablets, printers, and standard office software.

Responsibilities

• Perform work consistent with NYAP's mission and policies.
• Coordinate case management services under Lead Case Manager.
• Maintain active caseload and supervise outreach for sponsorship and reunification.
• Ensure timely completion of assessments and service plans.
• Coordinate referrals to external care providers and communicate with stakeholders.
• Maintain UC electronic and physical case files and upload documents.
• Participate in Continuous Quality Improvement activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
