Job summary

National Youth Advocate Program (NYAP) seeks a Case Manager I for La Jornada, a child welfare role focused on completing assessments and service plans, uploading files to ORR portals, and maintaining comprehensive case files in compliance with policy.

The position requires bilingual English/Spanish capabilities, collaboration with Lead Case Manager, and coordination with sponsors, legal providers, and care teams to support reunification and safety for youth in care.

Qualifications

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) required; fluency in Spanish essential.
• Bachelor’s degree in behavioral sciences, human services, or related field.
• Experience with case management in child welfare preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate case management services for children in care.
• Ensure timely completion of assessments and service plans.
• Maintain case files compliant with policy and CQI standards.
• Upload documents to UC Portal and related systems.
• Communicate with stakeholders about referrals and care coordination.
• Coordinate with legal and foster care providers.
• Assist with transportation to appointments and court appearances.
• Participate in ongoing quality improvement activities.
