Job summary

National Youth Advocate Program seeks a Case Manager I for La Jornada to complete assessments, develop service plans, and upload documents into the ORR Portal. The role requires flexible scheduling, weekend/on-call work, and collaboration with USCIS and sponsor families.

You will conduct intake interviews, coordinate with multiple stakeholders, and maintain comprehensive case files while ensuring timely reunification efforts and safety planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Human Services, Counseling or related field.
• 1 year experience preferred working with children/adolescents or in youth services.
• Bilingual English/Spanish; Spanish fluency required.
• Ability to obtain CPI and CPR certification.
• Must have a valid driver's license and reliable vehicle.
• Proficient use of computers and office software (Word, Excel, databases).

Responsibilities

• Perform case management assessments within ORR timelines.
• Conduct intake interviews with youth and gather sponsor information.
• Interview sponsors/family members to assess sponsorship suitability.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary team for reunification planning.
• Maintain accurate case documentation and progress notes.
• Provide weekly updates to youth and families.
