Job summary

Planned Parenthood of Maryland seeks a fluent bilingual (English/Spanish) Call Center Associate for the Client Services team. You will be the primary contact for patients, scheduling appointments, handling insurance verification, and providing financial counseling with warmth and clarity.

The role starts with 1-2 weeks of on-site training in our Baltimore office, then you will work primarily remotely, coming into the office one day a month.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in outpatient clinical settings or healthcare front/back office duties.
• Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish required.
• Strong communication and customer-service orientation.
• Experience with Epic EMR/EPM software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Guide patients and schedule visits in Epic EMR system.
• Conduct insurance verification and financial counseling; provide cost estimates.
• Ensure data accuracy in Epic; document patient demographics and coverage details.
• Deliver compassionate problem-solving and route complex inquiries per protocol.
• Collaborate with health center teams to meet call center standards.
