Universal Processing in Houston, TX is seeking a Business Development Associate for a fully onsite, five‑day workweek role. You will be the brand ambassador, introducing our payments solutions to clients and building relationships from the first contact.

You will gather information, qualify leads, and drive new business. The position emphasizes outreach to small and medium businesses, with a strong focus on language skills, communication, and taking ownership of the sales process.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the US at time of hire (E-Verify).
• Bilingual in English and a second language with reading/writing proficiency.
• Highschool diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Gather leads, perform cold calls, and schedule appointments.
• Engage SMB owners by presenting products and services.
• Collect business info and input into databases.
• Collect pricing data from processing statements for analysis.
• Follow up with prospects to develop opportunities.
• Manage pipeline and payment strategies for long‑term success.
• Meet and exceed sales targets.
