Job summary

Universal Processing is hiring a Business Development Associate for an on-site role in Plano, TX. You will be the first point of contact to clients in our sales department, acting as a brand ambassador by presenting our business solutions.

This sales-focused position requires build­ing relationships with small to medium-sized businesses and driving new opportunities. The role includes a one-month on-the-job paid training.

Qualifications

• Must be authorized to work in the US at time of hire; E-Verify employer.
• Bilingual proficiency in Hindi OR Urdu is required; read and write.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred in related field.
• Sales or customer service experience preferred.
• Strong communication, critical thinking, detail-oriented, and analytical abilities.
• Excellent phone presence and ability to connect with clients on the phone.
• Aptitude for learning and developing negotiation and sales skills.

Responsibilities

• Gather leads, conduct cold calls, and schedule appointments to develop new business.
• Engage conversations with small- to medium-sized business owners introducing products and services.
• Collect business information and input lead data into databases.
• Gather payment-processing statements for pricing analysis and understanding financials.
• Follow up with potential clients to advance opportunities.
• Manage the sales pipeline and develop a payment strategy for long-term success.
• Meet and exceed sales targets.
