Universal Processing LLC in Houston is hiring a Business Development Associate to serve as the first point of contact with clients. You will introduce our payment processing solutions, gather essential business information, and manage the sales pipeline to drive growth.

The role is onsite, Monday–Friday, with paid training and opportunity for bonus pay as you meet targets. We offer health coverage, PTO, and a 401(k) plan to support your long-term success.

Qualifications

• Bilingual proficiency in a second language along with English is required, including reading and writing proficiency.
• Strong communication skills and analytical abilities are essential.
• High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Gather leads, conduct cold calls, and schedule appointments to develop new business.
• Engage conversations with small-to-medium-sized business owners by introducing products and services.
• Obtain business information such as business name, address, current marketing strategies, payment method, sales volume, and current pricing; input lead information into databases.
• Collect credit card processing statements for pricing analysis and to understand business finances.
• Follow up with potential clients to advance opportunities.
• Manage the sales pipeline and develop a payment strategy for long-term success.
• Meet and exceed sales targets.
