Job summary

Universal Processing LLC (uP) is hiring a Business Development Associate in New York. This onsite role represents the brand to clients and introduces our payment solutions to small and medium businesses.

Responsibilities include gathering leads, cold calling, scheduling appointments, and maintaining the sales pipeline to meet targets. Pay starts at $27/hour during probation and becomes $30/hour after, with medical, vision, dental, PTO and 401(k) benefits.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the US (E-Verify)
• Bilingual in Mandarin Chinese (read/write)
• High school diploma required; Bachelor’s degree in Business/Related field a plus
• Previous sales or customer service experience preferred but not required.
• Strong communication, critical thinking, detail-oriented and analytical abilities.

Responsibilities

• Gather leads, conduct cold calls, and schedule appointments to develop new business.
• Engage conversations with small-to-medium-sized business owners introducing products and services.
• Input lead information and gather business data for pricing analysis.
• Gather credit card processing statements for pricing analysis.
• Follow up with potential clients to pursue opportunities.
• Manage the sales pipeline and develop a payment strategy for long-term success.
• Meet and exceed sales targets.
