Qualifications

• Bi-lingual in English and Spanish.
• 18 years or older.
• High school diploma or GED.
• 1+ years in a high-volume call center.
• 1+ years in medical office/healthcare setting.
• Knowledge of healthcare claims billing/eligibility processes.

Responsibilities

• Handle a high volume of calls from patients or representatives; translate medical terminology into simple info.
• Research, troubleshoot and resolve complex billing issues and customer complaints.
• Navigate the Quest Billing System and related applications.
• Maintain a tracking log of all patient contacts.
• Perform additional projects as needed; maintain HIPAA compliance.
