Job summary

NeighborHealth is seeking a Behavioral Health Patient Access Coordinator to support patient registration for Behavioral Health services in a school-based setting and at central registration workspaces. The PAC reports to the Patient Access Manager and collaborates with the registration staff to promote a positive atmosphere and efficient workflows.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of health care experience, preferably in Behavioral Health or School-Based setting.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Bilingual English/Spanish required.
• Proficient with Windows-based systems.

Responsibilities

• Check-in / check-out.
• Verify insurances.
• Collect accurate demographics.
• Document collection for scheduling appointments.
• Assist patients and families with obtaining or renewing insurance coverage.
