Consumers Credit Union’s North Waukegan branch is seeking a full-time Branch Specialist. You will blend concierge, teller, and personal banker duties—welcoming members, processing transactions, opening accounts, and guiding customers to loans, mortgages, and wealth services.

The role emphasizes customer engagement, sales-oriented conversations, and strong technology use. Expect a 40-hour week with varied schedules and bonus eligibility.

Competenze

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of experience in retail, customer service, sales or cash handling.
• Bi-lingual English/Spanish required.
• Comfort promoting products and services in consultative, sales-oriented conversations.
• Strong comfort with technology, data systems, MS Office and web tools.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships.

Mansioni

• Welcome members and create a positive first impression.
• Assist and educate members on self-service options, including Interactive Teller Machines (ITMs).
• Process transactions accurately and resolve account and service needs.
• Open new consumer accounts efficiently and with attention to detail.
• Identify opportunities to connect members with loans, mortgages, and wealth management services.
• Recommend improvements that enhance the member experience and branch operations.
• Maintain compliance with all policies, procedures, audits, and balancing standards.
