Job summary

Consumers Credit Union’s Volo, IL branch is seeking a full-time Branch Specialist. You will perform Concierge, Teller and Personal Banker tasks, greeting members, processing transactions and opening accounts, while guiding them to the best financial solutions.

This is an entry‑to‑mid level growth path in financial services. The role requires a reliable, customer‑focused mindset, strong communication skills, and 40 hours/week availability with a schedule that includes evenings and Saturdays.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ year experience in retail, customer service, sales or cash handling; banking/teller experience is a plus.
• Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
• Comfort promoting products with consultative, sales‑oriented conversations.
• Strong tech comfort with data systems, MS Office and web tools.
• Excellent communication and relationship building skills.
• Ability to multitask, stay organized and work in a fast pace environment.
• Positive, diverse, inclusive mindset and 40-hour weekly availability.

Responsibilities

• Welcome members and create a positive first impression.
• Assist and educate on self-service options, ITMs.
• Process transactions and resolve account/service needs.
• Open new consumer accounts with attention to detail.
• Suggest loans, mortgages and wealth management options.
• Suggest improvements to enhance member experience and branch ops.
• Maintain compliance with policies, procedures, audits, and balancing standards.
