Job summary

Consumers Credit Union in Illinois is seeking a Senior Branch Specialist (Personal Banker) at our North Waukegan branch, with responsibilities extending to the Lake in the Hills area. You will develop relationships with members, become their financial expert, open specialized accounts and educate them about products and services that can positively impact their lives.

This role blends Personal Banker duties with teller tasks, involves sales goals and incentives, and requires strong service

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years of similar work experience (retail, customer service, guest relations, sales, and cash handling).
• Bi-lingual Spanish required.
• Comfortable promoting products and services, educating members, and engaging in sales-oriented conversations.

Responsibilities

• Identifying financial products/services that will benefit our members and guiding them toward those that are in their best interest.
• Processing requests for specialized and/or complex accounts and consumer loan applications for members.
• Greet members and direct them to the right person, and answer calls from members needing assistance.
• Ensure adherence to policies, compliance, audits, quality control and balancing standards.
