O'Reilly Auto Parts in Danbury, CT is seeking a Retail Service Specialist to support store management across sales, customer service, and operations. The role may include shift management in the absence of store leadership and encourages bilingual applicants.

Key duties include leading customer service for retail and pro customers, processing shipments and transfers, handling returns, invoicing merchandise, and ensuring security and schedule adherence.

Qualifications

• Retail sales experience, preferably in auto parts.
• Automotive systems and repair knowledge.
• ASE Certification.
• RSS Certification.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired).

Responsabilités

• Lead store team members in delivering excellent customer service.
• Supervise retail showroom customer service levels and programs execution.
• Ensure phone calls are answered per policy.
• Process buy online / ship-to-store, hub and store transfers, and DC add orders; notify customers on shipment arrivals.
• Handle special orders and outside purchases efficiently per procedure.
• Process returns and exchanges; issue refunds using correct payment methods.
• Ensure all merchandise, including core charges and warranties, is invoiced before leaving the store.
• Communicate Zipline messages; assign merchandising tasks and ensure completion.
• Ensure staff follow posted schedules; clock in/out per policy.
• Perform store opening/closing duties, day-end procedures, and deposits per policy; secure premises.
• All other duties as assigned.
