Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Service Specialist to support Store Managers in sales, customer service, store appearance, and operations. The role may assume shift management in the absence of management and encourages bilingual candidates to apply.

Responsibilities include supervising in-store service, processing shipments and transfers, handling returns, and ensuring accurate invoicing and security procedures. Strong communication and automotive knowledge are valued.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills required.
• Ability to obtain RSS Certification.
• Retail sales experience preferred, especially in auto parts.
• Automotive systems and repair knowledge
• ASE Certification preferred.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired).

Responsibilities

• Lead store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise the customer service levels on the retail showroom and ensure team execution on service programs.
• Ensure telephone is answered according to company policy.
• Process buy online/ship to store and store transfers efficiently and communicate shipment arrivals to customers.
• Handle special orders and outside purchases per procedure and manage outside purchase orders ledger.
• Ensure returns are processed quickly and refunds issued accurately.
• Invoicing of merchandise including core charges and warranties before product leaves the store.
• Oversee Zipline messages and delegate merchandising tasks as assigned.
• Ensure adherence to work schedules, clocking in/out per policy, and secure store operations during opening/closing.
