Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Parts Specialist to provide high-level service to retail and installer customers. The role supports store management and involves greeting customers, assisting with merchandise selection, and handling transactions with accuracy and courtesy.

Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply. The position includes performing daily operational tasks, assisting with stock and planogram updates, and delivering excellent customer service both in person and by phone.

Qualifications

• Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
• Ability to provide outstanding, friendly and professional customer service.
• Must be able to multitask, handling customers on the phone and in the store at the same time.
• Desired: familiarity with automotive parts, ASE certification, fluency in Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Greet retail customers and assist in merchandise selection.
• Promote customer service programs and related selling.
• Assist professional customers and store management as needed.
• Answer store phone calls, lookup parts, quote prices, and offer low-price guarantees.
• Handle cash, checks, credit card transactions, and returns per policy.
• Maintain cash drawer and security, process exchanges and returns.
• Support image maker and planogram updates, stocking, and housekeeping.
• Perform daily store operations and occasional vehicle deliveries as needed.
