Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Service Specialist in Massachusetts. The role supports the Store Manager and Assistant Managers in sales, customer service, store appearance, and operations, and may assume shift management in their absence.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to obtain RSS Certification.
• Retail sales experience preferred, preferably in auto parts.
• Automotive systems and repair knowledge.
• ASE Certification.
• Fluency in multiple languages, Spanish highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Lead store team in delivering excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise customer service levels in the showroom and ensure policy adherence.
• Oversee order processing (buy online/ship to store, hub and store transfers) and notify customers on shipment arrivals.
• Handle returns, exchanges, refunds, and ensure proper payment processing.
• Perform opening/closing duties including money handling and security procedures.
• Provide shift management in the absence of Store Manager or Assistant Managers.
• All other duties as assigned.
