Veros Credit, LLC in Santa Ana, CA seeks an Account Servicing Specialist (Pre 30's) to service auto loan accounts less than 30 days delinquent and document collection activities using the loan servicing software. This in-office role offers California-based remote work for employees living more than 30 miles from our offices, with a flexible schedule and opportunities for growth.

English/Spanish bilingual required, strong negotiation and communication skills, and a high school diploma or GED are

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in collections, preferably subprime consumer lending.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read, interpret and apply federal, state, and local collections regulations.
• Interact with customers in a professional, tactful, and sensitive manner.
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment and can work independently or in a team.
• Flexible schedule and overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Follow policies and FDCPA compliance in all activities.
• Negotiate payment arrangements and offer alternative payment methods.
• Help borrowers devise strategies to keep their vehicle while meeting obligations.
• Accurately document account information and collection activities.
• Utilize skip tracing tools to locate delinquent borrowers.
• Other duties as assigned.
