Job summary

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in collections, preferably subprime.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to read, interpret and apply FDCPA and state/local regulations.
• Professional, tactful interaction with customers.
• Flexible work schedule with overtime as needed.
• Bilingual English/Spanish required.

Responsibilities

• Follow and ensure compliance with all company policies and FDCPA.
• Negotiate payment arrangements with borrowers and propose alternatives.
• Assist borrowers in developing a strategy to keep their vehicle while meeting loan obligations.
• Accurately document account information and collection activities.
• Utilize skip tracing tools to locate delinquent borrowers.
• Other duties as assigned.
