Job summary

Veros Credit is seeking an Account Servicing Specialist (61+ Days) to service auto loan accounts that are 61+ days delinquent and document all collection activities using our loan servicing software.

You will negotiate payment arrangements, help borrowers keep their vehicles, follow FDCPA and company policies, and maintain accurate records. Bilingual English/Spanish is required; 2+ years in automotive collections and skip tracing are preferred.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in automotive collections handling 61+ delinquency.
• 2+ years of skip tracing experience.
• Reinstatements experience is a plus.
• Effective communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read, interpret and apply FDCPA and related regulations.
• Professional interaction with customers in sensitive situations.
• Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced team environment.
• Flexible schedule and overtime as needed.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bilingual English/Spanish required.

Responsibilities

• Follow and ensure compliance with all company policies and FDCPA.
• Negotiate payment arrangements with borrowers and propose alternative methods.
• Assist borrowers in strategies to keep their vehicle while satisfying obligations.
• Accurately document account information and collection activities.
• Utilize skip tracing tools to identify and locate delinquent borrowers.
• Other duties as assigned.
