Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in sales, customer service, store appearance and operations. The role will lead the team in servicing customers and managing store coverage when the Store Manager is absent or on opposing shifts.

Qualifications

• Required: Sales Specialist Training, Assistant Manager Certification and RSS Certification.
• Desired: Certified Parts Professional Certification; ASE Certification.
• Desired: Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired).

Responsibilities

• Lead the store team in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise customer service levels at the retail showroom and implement service programs (Related sales, Hi5, Rock the Call, Never Say No, Rock the Lot).
• Work with the store manager to ensure adequate staffing during peak hours.
• Assist in setting team member goals, provide feedback, coaching, and training updates.
• Participate in recruiting tasks, scheduling interviews, and candidate evaluation with management.
• Ensure all calls and transfers are processed promptly and customers are contacted on shipment arrivals.
