Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in sales, customer service, store appearance, and operations. The role requires leading the team in servicing customers and managing store duties during Manager absence or opposing shifts.

Qualifications

• Sales and customer service experience required.
• Ability to lead and coach team members.
• Experience hiring and recruiting processes.
• Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred.
• Willingness to work varied hours and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Lead store team in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise customer service levels at the retail showroom and implement service programs.
• Ensure adequate staffing at the sales counter during peak hours.
• Assist in setting team goals and providing coaching and feedback.
• Participate in the hiring process including interviews and candidate evaluation.
• Ensure store procedures for returns, exchanges, invoicing, and transfers are followed.
