O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in sales, customer service, store appearance and operations. The role involves leading the team, managing shifts, and ensuring exceptional service for retail and professional customers.

The candidate will assist in hiring, training, and achieving service goals, while handling daily store tasks, including opening/closing procedures and standard operating policies. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Required: Sales specialist training, Assistant Manager Certification and RSS Certification.
• Desired: Certified Parts Professional Certification; ASE Certification; Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired).

Responsibilities

• Lead the store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise the customer service levels on the retail showroom and execute service programs.
• Staff scheduling to cover peak hours and ensure adequate staffing.
• Assist store manager with hiring, interviews, and candidate evaluations.
• Ensure all purchases, returns, and transfers are processed according to policy.
• Open/close duties, money handling, and security procedures.
• Communicate Zipline messages and delegate merchandising tasks.
