Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts seeks an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in sales, customer service, store appearance and operations. The role may lead the team during the Store Manager’s absence and/or opposing shifts, focusing on coaching, training, and ensuring policy adherence.

Qualifications

• Required: Sales Specialist Training, Assistant Manager Certification and RSS Certification.
• Desired: Certified Parts Professional Certification; ASE Certification.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired).

Responsibilities

• Lead store team to provide excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise showroom service levels and ensure staffing during peak hours.
• Assist in hiring: recruiting tasks, interviewing, and selecting qualified team members.
• Ensure all returns/exchanges are processed and refunds issued correctly.
• Perform opening/closing duties, secure money/deposits, and maintain store cleanliness and security.
