O'Reilly Auto Parts in Bangor, ME is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in sales, customer service, store appearance and operations. This role will lead the team during shifts and ensure top-quality service for retail and professional customers.

The position emphasizes staffing, coaching, hiring, and ensuring efficient processing of orders, returns and transfers while upholding company policies. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Required: Sales Specialist Training, Assistant Manager Certification and RSS Certification.
• Desired: Certified Parts Professional Certification; ASE Certification.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired).

Responsibilities

• Lead the store team in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise the customer service levels on the retail showroom and programs (Related sales, Hi5, Rock the Call, Never Say No, Rock the Lot).
• Work with the store manager to ensure the retail sales counter is adequately staffed, especially during peak hours.
• Assist in hiring tasks, interviews, evaluating candidates, and coordinating with management.
• Perform store opening/closing duties, secure money/deposits, and maintain security.
