Husson University is seeking to add enthusiastic individuals to the adjunct pool to teach courses in our Online Master of Science Program in Nursing. Our programs are Nurse Practitioner tracks specializing in Family Nurse Practitioner, Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, and Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner. Courses are online and run for 15 weeks. Candidates with demonstrated experience and professional experience in the following are encouraged to apply:

• Strategy and Analysis of Organizational Process
• Healthcare Information and Technology
• Adult-Gerontology Acute Care

• Psychiatric Nursing

• Doctoral or Master’s degree in nursing and a minimum of five years’ experience.
• Compact License is preferred.
• Experience with online learning.
• Ability to effectively communicate subject matter to others.
• Experience with teaching online using the Course Management system Canvas is desirable.
• Adjuncts work remotely and spend significant time at a computer.
• Ability to efficiently operate a personal computer and associated software (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.).
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Personal commitment to providing quality online education.
• May consist of on‑campus trainings at Bangor campus 1-2 times per year for professional development as needed.

• Husson University's online adjuncts teach remotely and must have daily access to high‑speed internet and a computer (with camera) with an operating system of Windows or Apple OS.

Each employee shall use care in the performance of duties and act in a manner that will assure maximum safety to themselves, fellow employees, and the public. All unsafe conditions, accidents and injuries shall be reported immediately to the supervisor.

• Undergraduate Course – Masters Prepared: $933.33 per credit hour (maximum) *
• Undergraduate Course – Doctoral or Equivalent Prepared: $1,016.67 per credit hour (maximum) *
• Graduate Course – Masters Level Prepared: $1,016.67 per credit hour (maximum) *
• Graduate Course – Doctoral or Equivalent Prepared: $1,100.00 per credit hour (maximum) *
• Rate is dependent upon the number of students enrolled in the course assigned.
• Lab Sections Undergraduate – Masters Prepared: $1,150.00 per credit hour
• Lab Sections Undergraduate – Doctoral or Equivalent Prepared: $1,250.00 per credit hour
