Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Mount Clemens, MI to support the Store Manager in sales, customer service, and operations. The role will lead the store team during the manager’s absence and opposing shifts, ensuring excellent service for both retail and professional customers.

Qualifications

• Sales Specialist Training, Assistant Manager Certification and RSS Certification required.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired).

Responsibilities

• Lead the store team in delivering excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise customer service levels on the showroom floor and execute service programs.
• Collaborate with the Store Manager to staff the sales counter during peak hours.
• Assist in setting team goals, coaching, and ensuring training is up to date.
• Participate in hiring by interviewing candidates and coordinating with management.
• Ensure all orders, transfers, and shipments are processed timely and communicated to customers.
• Oversee returns, refunds, and ensure proper invoicing before product leaves the store.
• Communicate Zipline messages and delegate merchandising tasks as assigned.
• Ensure adherence to all policies, schedules, and security procedures.
• Perform opening/closing duties, including cash handling and deposits.
