Job summary

Community Choice Financial Family of Brands seeks a bilingual Assistant Store Manager in Houston to support customers with financial services while gaining store leadership experience.

You'll supervise staff, manage accounts, and drive risk management with a focus on service quality. This full-time role requires weekend availability and offers paid training, benefits, and opportunities to advance across our 11 brands nationwide.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year’s experience in customer service, sales, or retail.
• At least 3 months of supervisory, key holder, or relevant leadership experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in using phones, POS system, Microsoft Office, and other computer systems.
• Must be at least 18 years of age (19 in Alabama).
• Background check required.

Responsibilities

• Maximize customer success by offering financial services that fit their needs.
• Assess risk and process loan/pawn applications, check cashing transactions, and ancillary products.
• Complete daily call campaigns to market services and build new business.
• Oversee accounts management and recovery processes with a focus on customer service.
• Maintain customer information in the POS system with accuracy.
• Provide coaching and development to Customer Service Representatives as needed.
• Perform on-site duties including store errands and external marketing.
• Meet performance standards and participate in in-store and community events.
• Maintain store security and opening/closing procedures, including vault and cash drawer.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant laws.
